The page is made as a PHP learning tool for myself. It has no bigger meaning than a place for myself to keep the reviews and to learn a little PHP. Any help is ofcourse appreciated. You can always contact me on sunehs at gmail.com

WOW! This is the best movie I've seen in a very long time and the first 10 I've given in over a year. Simply a wonderful and well done story aswell as a more than amazing performance by Rachel McAdams.
After watching avatar for about half an hour I got car/motion sickness which lasted the rest of the movie, so had to watch a lot of it without the glasses, which obviously ruined a lot of it so I will not give it a rating yet.
Anyway as for the story, as you say it's somewhat of a cliche story but that doesn't matter when it's done well, but I don't think it was, for a couple of reasons. First of all I found the main charactor Jake Sully really unlikable, secondly the videolog way of telling big parts of the story didn't work well, I'd prefer just seeing the story happen, than having someone telling it. Also the story happened over some four months, which made it really fast paced, like suddenly three months had gone and a lot of stuff happened.
Anyway I'm not saying it was bad, I just don't see it as anything special.
It could have been another ten like
Batman Begins, but it was missing Katie
Holmes, and it was lame to kill Rachel
off, but they might aswell had since
Holmes wasn't playing her.
I really liked the story, which I thought fitted very well into the universe, although I didn't remember much of it. The animations were really good some places, but the shape of the humans were really unrealistic.
Eventhough it had a lot of way too much stereo types, which could have ruined it, it managed to become a great movie afterall. The seven dorks were all great charactors and Bynes plays really well. It some great dramatical moments and also some hilarious parts.
Isla Fisher has become a really nice actress, loved her in both this and Hot Rod. Along with always funny Jason Biggs it was a really funny movie. Loved the love story aswell.
The last half hour or so was really good and intense. They used a lot of time with the investegation, a better use of some of that time could have made it an even better movie. However still an awesome movie.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) [IMDb]
A good comedy and a good story in many ways but somehow strange and odd at times, which really brings it down. Also Isla Fisher was extremely cute in this.
A very lovable story. Hated how it ended though. As always great performances by Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder, was nice to see them in something older.
A quite lovable movie, had a nice feeling. Nice acting from Pheiffer and Rudd aswell. Although it was a little too much with the overgay dressing guy, and the imaginary woman.

Wow, still get almost tears in my eyes when padme says: "Anakin, you're breaking my heart" and get a lump in my throat towards the end. No other movie is even close to being this good.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) [IMDb]
A pretty pointless movie, I never understood what was the point of the fights. The dialogues were just a lot of big words trying to make it sound important, but resulted in it being pretty lame. Simply nothing good about the movie.
A somewhat fine movie, but kind of dull. The whole thing in China wasn't really interesting, nor was the romantic story, but it still managed to be an ok movie somehow.
(English title: Wet Dreams) Very very funny, especially the first half or so. Towards the end it became more a romance kind of movie. Which weren't necesary a bad thing though. However it wasn't exactly the most intelligent script, nor acting.
Zach Braff and Amanda Peet are just great. <3 <3 <3 Maybe not a too interesting plot, but the chemestry between the two was brilliant. Some other nice actors too.
A fine movie, and quite funny at moments, but would have been nothing without the charme of greats actors Kevin Smith and especially Jennifer Garner. I did not like how it ended at all though.
A perfectly good movie if you like watching people go on a stage with people applausing them... The war parts itself were good, but there were too few, and too much bullshit.
Another great great story by Nicholas Sparks. An icredible touching story, and superb acting by the two main actors, especially Mandy Moore who made her charactor so nice.
Another great piece from Pixar. What really makes it a great story is the whole thing about the small town on Route 66 that lost it's golden days when the interstate was build. A really touching story. And Owen Wilsons voice to top it all :).
WOW. It's not the first time I see it, but it's been a very long time since last. It's just so great, one of my favourite movies. Nice to see a hand drawn movie again, a shame they don't do those anymore.
The first half was decent, but became much better during the second half. I didn't realise untill wathcing this, that there's so many movies in this same enviroment. Kevin Smith is not bad.
A lot of different storylines which had very little to do with each other, made it quite confusing and extremely boring. I couldn't watch more than half of it.
Eventhough it might be an interesting subject, the movie was really boring. It had no plot at all, and it was not like anything new happened at the end.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Be... (2006) [IMDb]
It was funny at some parts, however it had no real story and was boring at moments. The whole Baywatch thing was kind of cool though.
An awesome movie, incredible funny and so much better than the first one. I just loved every singe part of the movie, from the LOTR - Star Wars discussions to the Dante - Randal friendship and to the love story.
A pretty funny movie. There wasn't much of a story, some ok moments but overall pretty non excistant. However the animation and sound effects were really good.
Surprisingly good superhero movie with a nice twinkle. The movie got a little Monthy Pyton style. Pretty funny and the young actors does a quite nice job.
Napoleon Dynamite is so hilarious. One of the funniest movie characters ever. The character of Napoleon Dynamite really makes the movie, and makes it very funny.
A pretty exciting storyline. The run for release dates are really taken to the extreme. However it's not taken to it's full potential, could be better. And Rachael Leigh Cook is sooo hot ;).
Comedy, action, Salma Hayek and Penélope Cruz, what more can you want? The classic fight for justice, but still a nice plot and really funny. A really good western movie.
I really like the whole mystery the movie is build up around, is really exciting, love it. Seems like movies tend to be good when happening over a short periode of time, same as in 'The Man'.
For a long time I waited for the real story to begin but it never did, and it was first untill the very end I found out what it was really about, the relationship between the two sisters. I would have wanted more time where the sisters were together. The last 30-40 mins is good, but the rest kinda lacked a meaning.
After a maybe little slow start, when they start stealing the movie becomes really funny, where Jim Carrey again shows he's one of the funniest actors. It's a nice story too, which is also part of making this a good movie.
Second time watching this. I just love it. Zach Braff and Natalie portman is two amazing actors, was fun seeing Braff in this after watching him in Scrubs. The charactor Sam is just lovely. Maybe best movie in the Drama/Comedy/Romance genre.
Surprisingly good. Had expected some medium good movie, but Steven Spielberg can still make some damn nice movies. Tom Cruise does a really nice job as well as most of the other actors.
We saw this in English lesson after reading another book about the Ireland issue aswell. A really nice story about injustice. Gives a really nice picture of how the world sometimes is.
Very good for a number two. Even when watching the day after watching the first it was repetitive. It had some nice kinda sad moments about growing up and such. For sure more than a childrens movie.
A classic, and worthy of it's place on IMDb top 250. I didn't remember it being this funny, but it is. The characters are really cool and original. Being more than double the age I was when I saw it first time, it amazes me how good it really is.
Third time I see this. A very funny movie indeed. The animation could have been better, but that's maybe not so important. A quite simple though surprising story. A great danish comedy production.
I like the stone family. There was a nice chemistry and feeling in the family, which really made the movie what it is. I Watched this because Rachel McAdams was in it, and I really liked her. The story maybe wasn't so interesting but that didn't really mattered because of the above mentioned.
Was hard to give this movie a rating, in someway it didn't made much sense. The story didn't seem to be that good, but eventhough it became quite a good movie. I kinda like the sci-fi genre and this movie took a really nice aproach on that I think.
A really nice and sweet movie. Kirsten Dunst is lovely as always, and nice chemistry with Orlando Bloom, who does a nice job in a different kind of movie than what I've seen him in before.
A really nice and simple movie. Not simple in a bad way. Both Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy are nice actors and makes this movie what it is. The chemistry between them are just lovely. Really fun movie too. I just love it.
167 minutes. Far too long in my opinion. They could easily have cutted alot away and maybe it would a been a better movie. Too many boring scenes and such. I like Angelina Jolie in it, but even with nice actors they didn't manage to make it anything special.
A movie with a nice message. As said in IMDb review it's nice to see a high school movie with more meaning. The movie is kind of confusing in the beginning, you don't really know who is the lead roles and such. It lacks some places but is generally fun and has a nice story.
We saw this in danish class, after reading it. Generally boring movie. The whole moving are finding place in the Helmers' house, with a lot of talking. Sure Ghita Nørby and Ove Sprogøe are nice actors, but that's just not enough. Need some more action.
The funniest movie I've seen since American Pie Band Camp. Ryan Reynolds are so funny as fat guy. He's surely one of the best comedy actors. Both he, Amy Smart and Anna Faris does a nice job. The story works very well, making this one of the better comedies.
This movie really surprised me. It kind of reminds of her later movie Raise your voice, music being a theme in it. A nice story of how she have a dream come true. I really liked it for the whole celebrity thing.
Adam Sandler great as always. I really like the way they deal with the themes the movie takes up. A nice story about how a guy like Bobby can be something in life. A Sandler movie with a nice aspect.
Sweet movie about a relationship, in a high school enviroment. Very funny at some parts, but nothing special. An extra score because of lovely Emmanuelle Chriqui.
A really nice plot, with the spirit of Elizabeth coming back to David. Lovely like a romantic comedy should be. Both Witherspoon and Ruffalo are nice actors who both did a nice job in this one. I didn't like that endning that much though.
